Our first formulations are named after the place our business was born. Several members of our family-run business were born and raised in Trimble County, Kentucky. Wises Landing, in particular, is a place of many fond memories for us. We hope the name brings you comfort, as it has for us.
Wises Landing in Trimble County, Kentucky was named for Jesse Wise, who owned and operated a store and a large boat landing on the Ohio River in the 1860’s. The store was a center for trade for travelers along the Ohio River and for those who made their homes in the surrounding area.
We offer two variations of Wises Landing. Both formulations are made with an MCT-oil base and a proprietary 3 terpene blend. This terpene blend was selected to promote anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety effects. One of the challenges in producing Full Spectrum Oil is variation. Because the cannabinoids in this oil come directly from the hemp plant, it is very hard to control the precise amount each component. In an effort to provide transparency in our products, pharm CBD tests each batch of all our products three times and shares those results on our website. For our Full Spectrum Oils, we base our formulation on the amount of CBD in the concentrated hemp oil. For instance, our 2000 mg CBD New Hope formulation contains 2000 mg of CBD in addition to the other cannabinoids (THC, CBC, etc), terpenes and other phytochemicals that are contained in the concentrated hemp oil.
